Dancing where sparks fly for everybody 4 years and older
Everybody is at one time or another afraid of the dark. The uncertainty of not knowing what is going to happen and what you cannot see. Everyone likes the light, the warmth and feeling safe!
And if the light goes out does nothing exist anymore? Is darkness always scary? Is it always safe when there is light? And what do we actually see when we see nothing?
Three dancers explore in a playful way the world of light and dark. In a bewitching performance of fiery poetic dance Day-dark takes you on a journey of discovery through darkness with magical moments of light, in a fantasy journey of dreams.
Discover how beautifully the stars twinkle in the night sky or the beauty of the sun which suddenly brings us warmth. The beauty and magic of creating a fire or a scintillating wild dance, the wonder of a lamp bulb which goes on and off and a comforting torch in the night
GET INVOLVED
Plan d- organises on request for each performance interactive Do-activities. At the performance of Day-dark you are welcome in the Light garden > a shadow show in a tent, making the dark bottle for your bedside table glow or the “feel-good” tent with a lot of cushions and beautiful music and explore what you feel when you are blindfolded in the room you can only touch .

Do you want to dance in a professional dance production?
Are you 8 to 12 years old? Then come and join us!
In this project you can perform in a production of Dagdonker XL with three professional dancers! In the workshops you will work together with a professional dance teacher who will prepare you for a role in the performance of Dagdonker XL.
