Andreas Denk is dancer, choreographer, décor designer, founder and artistic director of plan d-. He makes humorous and infectious dance productions for the whole family. He is a master in integrating daily attributes into dance phrases and hilarious scenes. His creativity and fantasy keeps surprising his public again and again.
Andreas Denk: “I don’t put attributes on the edge but right in the middle of the performance. They form obstacles which confront me in my movements and choreographies.”
Quote: Andreas Denk, (…) can make something out of nothing. Attributes and props are his motor, they pump his movements and moving phrases. Things of everyday life are enough for his complete choreography. And so the friends look more like do-it—yourself men than dancers. (Review of a performance of Friends in the Winter in de Volkskrant)
